Premium Member Kevin Masuda Posted January 31, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted January 31, 2006 Ok I hope I'm in the right forum this time. For those of you who have used or have konvases, what are your experiences(if any)with using Fujifilm stock? Or does it even matter what stock you use on the Konvas? Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted January 31, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted January 31, 2006 Some sync-sound cameras run a little louder with Fuji film if they can't adjust the pitch, but I don't think that's going to be an issue in a Konvas... Premium Member Sean Morris Posted February 1, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted February 1, 2006 Hi Kev, I have shot many rolls of fuji and kodak on my Konvas 2M with no troubles, as long as your camera & mag's work correctly, you wont have any troubles. Cheers Sean Morris
Guest 3ldfilms
This may seem like a stupid follow up question, but does one need to modify a Konvas2M in any way to make it able to run standard Kodak film? The reason I ask is several Russian ebay sellers say things like "Camera works with Bell&Howell or Russian type perforation films". Are they cracked? Or is russian 35mm somehow differnet? Hi, The Konvas does not have any register pins so the perforation shape is not important. Russian negative has the same perforations as print film, so any Russian camera with pin registration needs to be modified to use negative with B+H perfs.
