Premium Member Andrew Koch Posted June 28, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 28, 2004 I'm going to be an AC this weekend on a Super 16 shoot. I have only shoot regular 16mm. When calculating Depth of Field, is it different for super than regular or can I still use my same old chart. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. Premium Member Laurent Andrieux Posted June 30, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 30, 2004 it actually depends more on the final issuing mode : blow up for 35 or tv ? I've always used 16 cc for super 16 myself, as you actually coud use a little bit larger value. If it's good for 16, it will be good for super 16. JONATHANEDWARDS
Andrew if you own a palm, you can use pcam or pcine to calculate your dof. You can download it off this site in the software section, it lays out your cc for you nicely in a vary easy to under stand way. i wall ways look like this  looking at regular charts
