Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted June 17, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted June 17, 2006 "Thin" is optimal for a film-out, or probably even uprezzing to HDTV, but will cause aliasing and "twitter" around fine lines and details. For standard def release, medium or thick would be better. I'd just shoot some tests and see for yourself -- put some things in the frame that tend to cause that problem, like a herringbone pattern in a suit, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
