thick or thin mode

hey preparing for a shoot on the dvx 100A, wondering about the detail mode in the scene file settings, there is one thin, middle and thick one. what would be optimal setting?

"Thin" is optimal for a film-out, or probably even uprezzing to HDTV, but will cause aliasing and "twitter" around fine lines and details. For standard def release, medium or thick would be better. I'd just shoot some tests and see for yourself -- put some things in the frame that tend to cause that problem, like a herringbone pattern in a suit, etc.
