I have heard that the ZM's are the best of the Beaulieu's, but I don't really know for sure because I've never shot with any other Beaulieu besides this one. Beaulieu 1008 is not a true beaulieu, made by chinon or bell and howell i think, seem to recall the optics are chinon glass. Buy it if its going cheap, there are better models out there for the same money. Every 1008 i have seen at uk camera fairs never work!! so test the camera thoroughly before purchase.
