Changing K-3 Lenses

How do I go about taking off this lens on the K-3? Do I mess with the tiny screws? or just twist very hard? I don't want to break it :)

No messing with the screws, just turn counter clock wise. It'll unscrew.

Brace your palm against the zoom lever for a little extra leverage. Its probably been stuck on there since 1991 or so.

 

That lens has a longer screw than most m42 still camera lenses.

Unless you have the comparitivly rare BAYONET version.

the bayonet version you want to twist the two knobs on top and bottom clockwise i believe.

At begin , You need check, this is K-3 with M42 screw mount or K-3 with bayonet lens mount.

If you will unscrew lens with bayonet mount, you can broken bayonet ( if you have big power on hand )
