Nitin Sagar
i feel 35 gives you more freedom to take more liberties... any other considerations? ...like 7218 gives a lot of freedom ..hw much more can 5218 offer
Jarin Blaschke
Certainly. On the last shoot I did, I pushed some scenes a stop just for additional contrast. On others, I pushed two and kept expsing at box speed to really cook the highlights and give bit of grain. These are things that I probably wouldn't have done if the production shot on 16mm, which it almost did.
Nitin Sagar
the same would work for 70mm as compared to 35mm?
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted August 4, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted August 4, 2004 "Size DOES Matter". All else being equal, a larger format offers finer grain and better sharpness.
