Joey Dee
Hey folks, I was reading this post: http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/in...l=bolex+footage and a member posted a footage of a Bolex 16mm and Im just wondering if there are other members on the site that have 16mm footage that would like to share with us as I am curious to see them :) my best, Joey Dee

Joey Dee
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=bolex+16mm Thanks Keneu, I saw most of these Bolex 16mm on YouTube and to be quiet honest I don't fancy their style except for one of them that just blew me away, extremely beautiful: this dude just caught the right emotions of these people in his film @ the right time, very powerful!!! my best, Joey Dee Edited December 16, 2006 by Joey Dee
Nick Mulder
'Pi' I think was shot on a Bolex - not %100 - though it was certainly 16mm

It looks like it was shot with a Super 16mm converted Bolex and the lens did not cover the whole frame. It is a very good film though dark in places. Yah that would make sense - also I noticed part of the frame there was light that came in which burnt a little of the frames and I know with the 16mm you need to tape the sides of the camera so no light would come in, what lenses do you think he used? 25mm? my best, Joey Dee
Patrick Cooper
Selected shots in the Oxford films documentary 'The World You Never See' were shot with a Bolex H16. It looked like Switar lenses were used in at least some of these shots.
