Hi all,

i've my first hvx200 footage recorded. i've put it to my external hd with panasonics p2 content management software. but i can't find out how to convert the mxf files into fc pro compatible mov files.

from now on i will import my footage directly into fc pro via the "import p2 panasonic" function.

can anyone please help me out?

thanks a lot.

fcp 5.1.4 should work, thats what I use.

just go to

File

import

Panasonic P2

this maybe where you are going wrong: dont just import the mxf files

Import the whole contents folder with everything in it, including mxf files, video, clips, audio, icons and so, just import the whole contents file

thats how I do it.

perhaps because i'm using fc pro 5.1.4

how to log/convert the mxf files in this fc pro version?

thanks for helping!

best,

jasper

Hi bfore your import the File.....could you please check that

1) Version of your Final Cut PRO...should be VER 5.2 or Later......

2) Do you have P2 Driver?

3) Do you have P2 Viewer?

If you update all of your programs yet.....please start to Import....
