Thank ! Gabriel I once use that effect. I just use water but you can use coffee or a black liquid to dark the shadows. Welcome to the site Adam :) All you need is a nice large undiffused light shining through the window, and your actor has to be fairly close to the window so the shadows of the droplets are nice and focused on his/her face.
