chris buddy
Hey Guys, Where is the best place to do a Super8 telecine/transfer in NYC? I really only know Du-All, A1, PAC lab. What are your opinions? Thanks! Avoid PAC lab at all costs. Went there out of convenience a handful of times a few years back. Dont know about the others because I started sending my stuff out to Spectra and never looked back.
James Mehr
Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any other places you send you super8 footage?
Site Sponsor Robert Houllahan Posted September 20, 2007 Site Sponsor Share Posted September 20, 2007 Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any other places you send you super8 footage? This is a shameless plug but we do have a drop in NYC at the Standby program (www.standby.org) and have quietly been building a nice super8 deal over here at cinelab. www.cinelab.com -Rob-

Problem is that PAC will overcharge you and then is never actually in control of their transfer process.
