Doug Zajaczkowski
Hello all, I have an opportunity to use a friend's Arriflex-M this weekend with a 5.6mm (I assume fisheye) lens. My knowledge of lenses is limited to my experience with them on my Nikon D50 but I know focal lengths have differing fields of view depending on the size of the film or sensor they focus an image on. Does anyone know what a 5.6mm lens will look like on 16mm film? If anyone can point me in a helpful direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. chuck colburn
Hey Doug, Are you sure the lens is 5.6mm? Angenieux use to make a 5.9mm for 16mm cameras. It's not a fisheye. Edited October 15, 2007 by chuck colburn
