I don't have the book on me now, but as I remember these tables were different for 35mm and 16mm film. I was wondering if there is a table for super 8, since determining correct focus is sometimes difficult using the small viewfinders in cameras. Thanks. Paul James Savarese Posted December 27, 2007 Share Posted December 27, 2007 I think a safe bet is to use a chart for that of 16mm. I believe the circles of confusion are pretty close. But don't take my word for it. Hopefully somone else can enlighten us both on this matter. I shot a film using the 16mm chart and all was well. If you are on a Mac there is a depth of field calculator widget from Fuerstentum.net that covers super 8. I would think a little googling would result in a number of options.
