Lighting effect

Recommended Posts

Just wondering how to achieve an shadow effect like this with lighting:

(see below/attachments if theyv worked)

Other examples of it, can be seen on the movie Alien and Aliens (its basically where beams/a beam of light is shooting past the subject/object and the subject/object has no light on them)

Sorry if this is too simple, jsut curious to how its done :)

Hi Bryce,

please use the search function of the boards. This question has been asked numerous times. You'll find lots of ideas there.

Cheers, Dave
