David Bradley
Any idea on how this was done. How did they track back?
Scott Fritzshall
That's a pretty easy split screen. Shoot it in two passes and comp it together. The timing of the camera move is the only tricky thing, but a motion control rig solves that easily.

Will Earl
When I first saw it I was tempted to say it was done by using a mirrored set and doing the effect in camera. But the stuff on the right of frame looks to me like it's behind the mirror. Unless they shot it as a mirrored set and then comp'd in the stuff on the right. nick lines
Shoot it in two passes and comp it together. i agree 2 passes would be there best bet. Much easier to shoot it twice, then have to build a set with 2 sides. They also have a nice line down the mirror, so they have a good guide as the where to spit the frame.
