Premium Member Tony Brown Posted November 8, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted November 8, 2004 Its becoming increasingly difficult to keep up to date with new equipment and developments within our industry. Can anyone recommend newsletters (i.e. such as those from Kodak or Arri) that they find useful and might be of interest to me. I'm only really interested in 35mm and post production..... Premium Member Michael Nash Posted November 8, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted November 8, 2004 Cinematographer.com keeps a pretty current list of press releases: http://www.uemedia.com/CPC/cinematographer/ I've found that no single resource has every news item, but most of the magazines and websites I read duplicate much of the same information. Premium Member Max Jacoby Posted November 8, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted November 8, 2004 Arrinews is quite useful for everything Arri. It only comes out twice a year though. Otherwise there is a lot of technical and product info on the Arri website as well.
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted November 15, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted November 15, 2004 (edited) The Kodak website is usually quite "up to date": http://www.kodak.com/go/motion You can easily search for a particular film, title, cinematographer, topic, etc. by entering a keyword in the "Seach Cinematography" tool in the lower left corner of the webpage. The latest topics are the new Kodak VISION2 250D Color Negative Film and Kodak's Digital Cinema System: http://www.kodak.com/go/dcinema Edited November 15, 2004 by John_P_Pytlak
