Tim Tyler
I was surprised at the high production value of the widescreen stream I watched of this event. Have these addresses been 16:9 for a while? As much as I enjoyed the sweeping jib shots, they seemed out of place. What's next? Steadicams in the aisles? Anyone know the tech specs or which production company put that together?
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted February 25, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 25, 2009 A Cable Cam zooming over the senators is next, I think. And they're going to mic the party whips like they do quarterbacks... Dunno how long it's been 16:9. CSpan is still 4:3, so it certainly might've been an outside company. Ryan Thomas
It's funny, I was at a friend of mines house and saw them do the sweeping move over congress and couldn't help but point it out. Glad I'm not alone on noticing this.
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted February 26, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 26, 2009 What I noticed in HDTV... was that some politicians should not allow themselves to be shot up close in HDTV...
