radar71
so i have a modified K3 with it's troublesome parts ripped out, super 16'd and a tobin crystal motor attached. now i would like to rig it to some kind of glide cam/steadi cam contraption and make like a pro. how to make the video tap? my idea: get a spy cam hooked to a small lcd and duct tapt it into the viewfinder. what do you guys think about it? Guest 22west
I like the video tap idea - then you can use your monitor screen for the soft matting. What did you modify for S16? Just the gate? Where did you get the tobin crystal motor?
Chris Burke
Who did the S16 mod? I would like to do the same. Who did the overhaul? Same people as the S16?
Premium Member Brad Grimmett Posted December 2, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted December 2, 2004 Get yourself an eyepiece tap. They are designed specifically for this application and will do the job a lot better than a spy camera. Here's a link to one that's for sale: eyepiece tap You may have to modify it so it fits your particular eyepiece.
