"MOS is a standard motion picture jargon abbreviation, used in production reports to indicate an associated film segment has no synchronous audio track."

 

Do you mean that you want a 16 Bl to be quiet enough to record sync sound?

 

With a full camera body and lens barney (and a 24-30 fps crystal sync motor, if not already on your camera ) a 16 BL could be used for sound filming.

Yeah, you'd be "non-MOS-ing" the camera, if you were going to try to make it a camera capable of recording sync-sound without camera noise issues. ;)

There's a magazine barney for the 16BL, but that's about it. If correctly adjusted it should be quiet enough for sync sound.
