Hey Kevin, I'm assuming that you've gotten your 17.5 up and running again at this point. I just picked one up and I was wondering if you ever had trouble getting the lens hood off and if you had any recommendations. I think the guy who serviced mine prior to me owning it may have bonded the hoods to the aperture ring when he repainted the inside.
