Guest brydie
Hi I'm about to commence study at an institute for film making. The course specialises in Camera Assisting. There are no text books requirements however I have found most people recommend either "The Camera Assistant: A Complete Professional Handbook" by Douglas Hart OR "The Camera Assistant's Manual," by David E. Elkins SOC. I reallt don't know which one to roll with. Does anyone have a suggestion - which would be the better of the two? My experience on set has been as split operator and 2nd Assistant on 2nd units. Thank you!
