primes for HDX 900

Hi guys!

 

Does anyone tell me whether I could use the set of prime lenses for RED Scarlet (2/3) to the Panasonic HDX 900?Do they realy feet well?

No, because those lenses are designed for a single plane chip while the HDX900 is a 3 CCD design. So you need lenses designed to work with 3 CCD's.

You can use the Canon FJ-Series HD primes or the Zeiss DigiPrimes, both in 2/3" B4 mount.

Hi,

 

The Scarlet 2/3 lenses do not exist as yet so they can't even be tested. When they are released they 'MAY' work well enough, The Panasonic is a 3 chip camera, the lenses ideally would focus the light on 3 different planes for R/G/B. How much this will be a problem I don't know as many S16 lenses are not that different to their 2/3" brothers.
