Chris Warren
Hello all, I recently saw "Limitless" and one shot in that movie blew my mind. I can only describe it as an "infinite zoom", for those who have seen the movie you know what I'm talking about. I am curious as to how they achieved that shot. Does anyone know or have any ideas? I tried looking online for an example to show but no luck. Thanks, Chris

Brian Hulnick
Well, I missed Limitless at the cinema. However a friend in Amsterdam, Holland has ordered the Blu-ray Steelbook for me. This will be yet another Blind Buy for me. Hope I like it.
Joseph Arch
That effect can be done in after effects. It is a limitless zoom done with stitching of pictures. You have to take a lot of pictures. Here is an example.

Markshaw
Limitless is a very good movie, well worth the wait in my opinion.
Anthony Schilling
I knew what shot you meant before I even opened the thread. It blew me away too. I've done a shot like this with my Super 8 camera and a roll of 7201... 2 frames every 4 to 5 feet over blocks and blocks while keeping the image center consistant. It came out great but not as smooth as that shot, no after affects.
