Chris Alex
I know that the beaulieu 4008 zm2 can film up to 70 frames per second. Well actually its 1-70 fps. Can the 1fps be used in animation? or is there another option fot that? Do all c mouth lenses fit on this camera? Im buying it this week so i just want to know. Any other advise is welcomed. Chris Alex
well yeah... you set the frame rate at 2fps and you slightly press the rec button so only one frame will be shot. I shot 5 cartridges and im waiting to get them back from prossecing.
Riku Naskali
well yeah... you set the frame rate at 2fps and you slightly press the rec button so only one frame will be shot. Or use a remote control for single-frame filming. As far as I know, about every super8 camera can do this.
Dan Salzmann
Frankly with all the work involved in stop frame or single frame animation, I never understood why people shoot super8 though I did it as a teenager and liked the Canon 1014XLS and the electronic remote switch. Most if not all editing is done "in camera" and the amount of film being shot is minimal. A Canon Scoopic with a cable release should set you up in 16mm for very little money.
