Mei Lewis
I want to network with other film makers and a friend has recommended http://shootingpeople.org Does anyone here use that site? Is it any good? There's a monthly fee and not a lot of information unless you pay it.

Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted May 2, 2012 Premium Member Share Posted May 2, 2012 Shooting people is probably OK if you're in your first six months of work and need some of the incredibly low-end stuff with which the UK is saturated. Moving up from that level of work is of course the problem... Frankly, the only people who are making anything out of shooting people are the people who run it. Like a lot of film-service organisations, they probably make more money than the actual industry they serve.
