Mark Klassen
Looking to do a long truss mounted tracking shot for a show I'm working on in NYC. Can't seem to pinpoint what a system like this is called and where to rent in NYC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKcBNbRSdyI#t=14 Anybody have any suggestions? Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted February 6, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted February 6, 2014 I'm wondering if a DoggiCam systems High Def Dolly or similar would work: http://doggicam.com/ all depends on what camera you're using. Also a Skycam, like they use for games on the cables could work as well.
Daniel Wallens
Try FXWest's wildcat system out of Denver. 303.922.2202. They also do spydercam. There's also the trussdolly (or the smaller twindolly) from SGS (www.solidgripsystems.eu). I also concur doggicam can get this done.
Sanjay Sami
This is a system I built a long time ago, but have since motorised it with a Preston DM1 motor and a micro force zoom controller. It is the middle picture on the second row. http://thegripworks.com/projects/project-darjeeling2.html

James O'Hara
Contact Atlantic Cine Equipment. They have several varieties of tracking systems availble. www.aceeast.com They just did the Victoria Secrets fashion show with the track runner. They also have a lift arm that posts the head up while dollying. They have the best toys.
