Max Field
Another fun thread. By some unlikely encounter, you're given 10 million to produce a feature and the rights to one album to score it. What is that album? Any genre, any popularity.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted April 12, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted April 12, 2016 Umm, I have a feature script to Radiohead's Kid A, ready to roll! It's a cool story which follows the lyrics pretty well. It would probably cost quite a bit to license the music, but it's also a big movie. Uriel Villegas
For some time I've dreamed of using a Jimi Hendrix album as a soundtrack to a movie, specifically 'Are You Experienced?' That album is truly music to my ears and the story that would follow most likely will consist of a psychedelic trip through an adolescents life, his upbringing into adulthood and what it entails such as love, loss, triumph and great defeats. However, the moral would not just be about always winning in life, it would rather stress the reality of it while stressing that in the end, experience is what makes us human; we learn from it, we succeed from it, it may even lead to our demise but an enriched character is always promised.
