Roger Alexander
At a shoot awile back I saw this T-bar being held up by a c stand with a silk hanging from it. Whats the official name of the t-bar so I can type it in online and buy one? Along with the piece that slides into the grip head? I just want the T-bar not a whole frame. Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted December 20, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted December 20, 2016 The cross piece is just one side of a frame, probably 1" square pipe/tube for an 8'x8'. The piece that slides onto the frame section is called something like a "pin for 1" square pipe/tube" according to this catalog: http://www.msegrip.com/catalog/MSEcatalog.pdf There's a page here with pieces like that: http://www.cinerent.net/index.php?route=product/category&path=250_258_264_388 The end looks like a standard 5/8" c-stand pin. JD Hartman
Likely as not a 3/4" frame ear. http://www.cinemagadgets.com/productdetail/3766 Manufactured by several grip companies, but all look similar.
