Alexa and Prores RAW

Has anyone heard any rumors regarding an external recorder that will record Prores Pro from the RAW output on an Alexa?

Atomos is offering this feature for Sony and Canon cameras. I would hope that Convergent Design would jump on the bandwagon

This would be a big deal for owners of pre-XT models like the Classic/EV/Plus that don't have the processing power to record Prores Pro internally, once Arri offers this codec.

I'm still waiting for Atomos to enable ArriRaw on their recorders like they said they would.

Prores Pro would be nice. Although i think that taking the ArriRAW output and encoding it to Prores Pro on the fly would not be possible. Who knows though! Luckily, storage space is getting cheaper so shooting RAW isn't as much of a problem.
