Arriflex SR Bayonet to PL mount

I'm not sure if this belongs here, but it seems the most appropriate. I might be getting an arriflex SR or SR2 soon and both are bayonet mount. I am wondering if I can/should get a conversion to PL mount or buy one with PL already.

Hey there, from my experience it’s worth either upgrading to a PL Mount or buying a SR2 with a pre installed PL Mount. In the long run, there are more lenses to choose from as bayonet lenses are getting more and more rare. On the other hand lenses with a bayonet mount might be a bit cheaper and can easily be adapted to pl using the right adapter if necessary.
