Overwound spring in a B8

How do I fix this problem?

What do you mean by overwound? You can’t overwind the mainspring of a Paillard-Bolex B 8. There are gears that limit the number of revolutions of the wind key. I suspect something else is the problem.

Ok, Thanks Simon. thought that that was what happened. It does not run when I "push the trigger".

Can I easily get inside to reach the releasemechanism?

Be careful if something is jamming the release, a wound spring may suddenly unwind with great force.
