John Salim
I know many H16's were modified for all sorts of scientific use, but has anyone ever seen one like this one ? ... and can anyone tell me anything about it ? The pictures were taken from a documentary about Donald Campbell ( land & sea speed record breaker ) during his land speed record attempt in the USA. The camera has a small 'magazine' attached to the rear which was seen to be removed after each run shot. John S
Premium Member alexandre favre Posted April 25, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted April 25, 2022 It is a Chronocinegines Longines with a Paillard Bolex camera modified to run at 100FPS. It was used to capture a series of images for the photo-finish. See pictures below. I was trying to find the name of the cameramen without success.
