How I learned to stop worrying and love the 2500 ISO

I wrote a little bit about the process of pushing the ARRI Alexa to 2500 ASA for “Made in Oslo” which is competing for the Golden Nymph at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival next month. Thought some might find it interesting.

This is great John. Thanks for the write-up! Did you apply film grain over the top in post or are all those images the native digital noise from 2500 ASA? Regardless, looks lovely mate.

No added grain, that’s just the sensor noise (which is quite lovely on the ARRI)
