steven jackson
I have a Cinema Products flat plate (serial number 007 !!) for an Arri IIc that has worn bearings on the two belt drive shafts...anyone have any experience in what the replacement bearings would be or a good source for small race bearings? I hate to throw this thing in the trash. In it's current state, it's noisy and the camera can't get up to speed.
Dom Jaeger
Just measure the outside and inside diameters and the thickness and do a google search for a local bearing supplier. Note if the bearings have a shoulder or not etc. Sometimes bearings just need an ultrasonic clean and new grease.
steven jackson
Thank you. I will remove them and try cleaning first but will measure them while they're out. I'm in a city, so hopefully I can find a supplier.

There appears to be a problem with the belt walking down to the bottom of the cog and rubbing and causing friction.
