  1. i feel that flv lights will be cheaper and then having a section of the house lit with tungsten lights will add the warm tones which might look good just keep a minus green handy if u use flv try making soft boxes and hanging them in the house
  2. i thought about that but i think the change between yellow and red would not be gradual im looking for more of a gradual change in color
  3. great thnx do u suggest me to pull process the stock too??
  4. ill be shooting in anamorphic would u suggest me to rate it at 250 or 320?
  5. ok i guess this question was not framed too properly the situation is such i am showing a shadow on the wall now the light has to change its color frm yellow to red and i want to avoid using two lights as i am not looking for double shadows
  6. oh ok well we are going through that way only we dont have a budget for a DI thanks
  7. hey thnx this info is good! jus wondering what is photochemical process?
  8. hello im about to start shoot in 2 days time. ive acquired some 400T fuji cans for the shoot. any past experiences in handling this stock would be helpful to me. let me know how did this stock fare under lighting conditions. im planning to shoot indoors under studio controlled environment. thanks
  9. hello im about to shoot my diploma film we require a specific candle lighting effect the scene is such - its dark and the room is only lit by a single candle source. the candle is kept next to the bed and two people are inside a quilt. they form various formations and the shadows are thrown on the wall the shadows grow larger is size as the shot progresses even the light slowly turns out to be more red from yellow as the shot progresses ive thought of creating a cloth net with various patterns and rotating it in front of the light to get a slight candle light effect. the light will be placed low, so the shadows run up on the wall slowly i was planning to move the light closer to the bed, so that the shadows grow as far as making it warmer is concerned, i was planning to have 2 lights instead one with a red gel on it slowly the yellow light dims and the red light is brought up would this work? or would u suggest me something else to try? thanks
  10. hey thats a gr8 camera that u are working with! i just completed my film school from wwi as a cinematographer and was looking for work outside could i bring you my work n show it to you cometime to get yr opinion abt them?
  11. hello i read about this article somewhere. u could chek it up in this site however, as far as i can recollect, there was this one good idea about how to light up reflections from tv. the idea was such.. we project the tv image on to a bounce board, and use it as a fill try it! should look good
  12. hello i was recently a part of the crew for underwater filming we shot on 2c arri, 35mm the crew for underwater cinematography was totally different they were certified scuba divers we used hydroflex gear to make the camera go underwater the lights we used was natural daylight from sun we also used a few HMI's from over the pool there were a few other handy kino's which could go underwater
  13. jus too be very sure you can use your spot meter to read the light on your screen the last shot i took of a cell phone was using 500T with a 4-5.6 exposure, it worked fine
  14. i would say dont worry too much about it jus go ahead and shoot ive done it many times and never has it been not exposed properly
