  3. Hey Cinematography lovers. My name is Lee, a DOP based in London. Apologies for the random post, but I just wanted to share my latest short film 'LET'S ROLL' which is now available to watch online! Right now, a little short film may not share the greatest importance, but I certainly hope it can produce some laughs in what's currently a gloomy time for us all. The story follows teenager Antonia who tries to live up to her brother’s past successes by training in secret for the town’s dangerous tradition, the Gloucestershire Cheese Roll 🧀 https://vimeo.com/412362086 Shot on Arri Alexa Mini + Amira with Cooke S4I Mini's I hope you enjoy it! Thanks I really appreciate it x Lee Thomas
  4. Thanks Giacomo, all the aerial sequences were shot on the DJI Inspire 2 - X5S :D
  5. Hello Cinematography lovers! I hope you're all well! I recently shot a music promo using all natural and golden hour light! Filmed on location in the UK, where normally it's not like this! The budget was so small, like really small! We just managed to get hold of an Alexa for the weekend. We used my Canon EF lenses which I use normally for stills. I was quite impressed with the quality, what do you all think? Thanks for watching! Lee

  7. Thanks Matt! It was shot with no lighting gear. The crew number was very little compared to normal - Director, DOP, Grip & Drone Op. Pro side to this is we could move from location to location very quickly. On larger productions, it takes a bit of time as each department has to pack down and then setup at the next location. We were lucky with the overcast weather, which added to the murky feel of the town and made it a lot easier in the grade not dealing with strong shadows. My colourist Vlad did a great job at Cheat based in London www.instagram.com/cheat_it/ The last 3 shots in the film were all lit from the steel works flame. It was very important to me to shoot this just after sunset as you get a nice balance of blue in the sky and orange on the subject. The light drops very quickly so very much have to be on your toes :)
  8. Thanks Robin, we used the Arri Amira using Cooke S2 Panchros. All the aerials were shot on the DJI Inspire II - X5S
  9. Hey everyone! If you have a spare moment, check out this 2min film I shot called ‘Land of Steel’. Shot on ARRI Amira using COOKE S2 Panchros. Vintage lenses re-engineered by TLS (40+ year old glass in modern housing) Shot in Port Talbot late last year. With Blade Runner (1982), Ridley Scott drew his vision of the future from this surreal and vast location. LAND OF STEEL https://vimeo.com/260825061 Supported by Michael Sheen - https://goo.gl/6zwXFF Thank you very much hope you enjoy! Lee
