  1. I’d love some feedback on a music video I did for my band recently. Part of the music video is a super-stylized noir look, and part of it has a glitchy electric computerized feel. Feel free to comment on the cinematography, VFX, or even the song. Let me know if you think this worked!
  2. Here's a short film I wrote/shot/directed. I'm primarily a writer/director, and I'm doing cinematography on my films out of necessity. Next step for me will be working with a cinematographer! But I'd love some general thoughts on this film, so I can take the feedback with me on my next project. The film takes place within a Skype video call window, and I'd call it a mystery/thriller. Let me know what you think!
  3. Hi everyone, so this is the first showreel i have produced that shows all my favourite imagery while working as a DP and/or Operator. I think i am still trying to develop my skills by taking on varied genres and ideas - using aspect ratio, lighting, composition and movement to tell stories. I would love to hear from cinematographers what you think of the work so far, as well as what constructive criticism you have to offer. Here's the link: https://vimeo.com/250899536 Best Wishes, Mat
  4. Hi guys, I would really like a fresh pair of eyes to take a look and give me some honest feedback. Got out of school in September. Thanks! Sraiyanti Haricharan
  5. Hey guys, just wondering if I could get a little feedback on my cinematography reel any comments are greatly appreciated, thanks. https://vimeo.com/77648972
  6. Hello there! FIRST OFF: WARNING; I am complete NOOB in this field so expect to see something really bad. I am just posting this to get some basic feedback on how to present myself on video (how I should stand, look into the camera, how I should move my face muscles when I speak and so forth), some lightning changes, editing changes, etc.,. My purpose of shooting video is appearing as a "spokesperson" (so yes, I am definitively wearing the wrong outfit). I will get better clothing, another mic instead of the one inside my camera and a complete white background since my camera has
  7. Hi all, First post here, thought I'd introduce myself. Having worked at a video production company in the UK for the past 5 years I've finally gone freelance as I'm looking to get more into shorts and gaining dp, 1ac, 2ac etc. experience. I know I'm at the very beginning but being 32 I'm not a spring chicken anymore. My first project is a self-initiated music video for an prog artist Crayola Lectern, shot on Epic and I was wondering if anyone had any constructive criticism on the piece? It's not fiction per se, being a music video, but I was aiming for a look which would work cinematically.
  8. Hello Everyone, I'm looking for feedback on my latest short film, The Brute Killer. Please let me know what you think of it. Here's the link: Thanks...Tom
