Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place for this. I have a light leak problem on my XTR prod, it's a strong red flashing cast that comes across the image fairly sporadically, I have attached an example video: I thought it might be the viewfinder glow somehow leaking through the gate, however I thought when I was filming this the glow was off, but I can't be 100% sure. I have found two other posts from the forum about this kind of problem: But I'd like to post about my specific problem with examples here to see if anyone might know definitively what causes it. I am based in the UK and I am going to get the camera serviced and hopefully fixed, but in order to chase down this particular problem I thought I would ask here and see if anyone else has had this problem and what solutions they found please? Dear Cinematographers, Was intending to shoot film and lens tests with a super 16 Krasnogorsk-3, in preparation for a project done on an Aaton XTR PROD. Now is there any way that I might use the M42 mount lenses for the Krasnogorsk (namely, Zenitar 16/2.8; Pentax Super-Takumar 50/1.4; &c.), later on for the Aaton? Do they have M42 to Aaton adapters? I'm looking to buy a super 16 package in great condition and working order, any one of the following camera kits would be amazing - AATON XTR PROD or XTERRA or ARRI SR3 or ARRI 416. I need the kit to be usable straight away once a lens is added - so no spares or repairs. If anyone knows of any for sale please let me know, other s16 kits considered as well as long as they are ready to shoot once a lens is added. I'm working on a small budget. Thanks, Ian
