Steven Wyatt
Hi, Apologies if this has been asked many if not several times before, by other people. I've just shot a test roll of 100ft 250D Fuji film on a Bolex RX-5 and i'm quite anxious to see the results. As the title suggests i'm wanting to know if there are any places that would offer cost effective rates for developing, processing and output to DV. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve

Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted August 31, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted August 31, 2006 Hi, It's 12p/foot. No matter where you go, it will be 12p/ft. No matter how much you beg, it will be 12p/ft. It is 12p/ft. Do not pass go, do not collect... Phil
Jon Kukla
Go around and ask; you have nothing to lose but a few minutes of time - it's not like there are hundreds of labs around London.
Brian Drysdale
Soho images seem to be trying to be friendly, they actually have a page on their site for students. http://www.sohoimages.co.uk/site/iframe.phps. Not saying they'll be cheap. It's best ring around the labs to see if they'll run your roll as a test and see if they'll do a deal. The minimum rate the labs charge could be a killer on a 100ft roll. You could try some of the European Labs, I've heard some good prices from them.

Oscar Godfrey
It isn't worth the postage costs for 100ft, but for larger amounts i recommend sending your film to Andec in Berlin. That is what i do.
