Projector Lighting

I'm doing this small scene where there are three characters in a room and the only source of light is a projector from which a film is playing on the screen.

 

How do i create this kind of an effect where i can see projector images falling on characters body and there is no other light source.

Just use the projector. For the CUs you can use a poly to bounce some fill back in to the shadows. You fill find that the light from the projector is quite strong.

I understand when you said "only source of light is a projector" but perhaps help you using a very low practical lamps in walls or tables (background or sides), hope helps
