Richardson Leao
dear all, just some thoughts, because i am moving countries i decided to either sell or shoot my ancient film stock. I found at the bottom of the freezer 30m rolls of 7252, 7255 and 7256. And I'll probably be using it as special effects for a new ugly film i'm making. Given that, i started to think about the origin of the film. Obviously the rolls are not originally purchased by me as they were produced way before I was born, but then, who did they belong to? I mean, what was the original intention of the person that bought it when he/she bought it? That film could have been used for example to document the murder of Alliende in Chile by CIA supported criminals, or be used to record moments of woodstock. It's like a history that has never been told because was never documented and because the gelatin was taken from a living creature, probably a pig that lived and had their own vision of the world back then, I will shoot it with all the respect this experienced emulsion deserves. Amen.

Can you please of explain a little bit more about the paraformaldehide pre-hardening bath and c41 chems (as negatives). Did you try to develop as black and white negative?
