Danny Lachman
Does anybody have advice or knowledge in regards to "stale supermarket lighting"? For example - ONE HOUR PHOTO - I'm interested in recreating the aesthetic I get when walking into a very clean supermarket store like Brookshire's or Kroger - It's a very clean lighting often accenting in a superficial ways the fruit section and frozen dinner isles. Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted November 15, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted November 15, 2007 My recommendation would be lots of soft lighting, primarily overhead, maybe geled slightly blue if you want a colder look, with just a bit filling in the eye sockets and giving some definition. Also, it would be primarily even, though a freezer or the like could have a motivated side-lighting coming in.
Premium Member Michael Nash Posted November 15, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted November 15, 2007 A lot of it is the production design -- lots of white, and large blocks of bold primary colors.
