I came on board 4 days prior before shooting and it had minimum budget. The crew was very tiny too, it consisted of the director, one AC, one gaffer, one grip trainee, and myself also operating (which i really enjoyed as i haven't done it for a long time, since i had mainly gaffing jobs the past months) We could not even afford a proper studio and we ended up shooting in somekind of huge recording room. it surely was properly soundproof and had good acoustics, but offered no posibilty for any rigging, was in the first floor with no elevator. plus we shot MOS, therefor killing the only advantage of the location. :) this also was my first time dealing with clients on set, and i endend up throwing paprika at walls in anger. but that was justified, i assure you. anyways, here's the clip in wmv: http://www.alex.haspel.at/PELZFinal.wmv in mpg: http://www.alex.haspel.at/PELZFinal.mpg some of the shots are terribly shortened here, i'll try to get some raw material up asap ..! and here are some setphotos (NOT shot by me): http://picasaweb.google.com/a.nostitz/Werb...Rschnermeister# thanks in advance for your feedback! Ira Ratner Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 If I'm on cable modem, albeit an older G4 Mac but with a ton or ram, why the hell can't I watch half of these clips for real, and not all jerky, slow, and NOT really viewable in real time?
