Unless you're doing some thing "BIG" use re-cans and short ends.

Short ends can drop the per foot price by two thirds, re-cans should be at least 50% off retail.

Places that do this properly fog test all the film. I've shot thousands of feet of short ends and re-cans and never had a problem.

Or bug Kodak for free film, I'm sure John_P_Pytlak can pull some strings for a fellow forum poster, eh John? :-)

I've weasled tons of free film out of Kodak in my time.
