Olivier Koos

Hi there,

here is an unfished version (sound, edit, grading not finished!) of a short film that I have produced and Dp'd. We shot with the new Kodak V3 250D

out of curosity we shot several scenes with the 5dmk2 (a video dslr)

here a comparision http://olivierkoos.blogspot.com/2009/10/5d...35mm-3perf.html

I'll be happy for every feed back (but please leave the colors out, they are over saturated and that is going to change!)

Oliver,

You are shooting too much. Give someone else a chance :P

Problem is I just found out about this nice forum-board and there are so many projects I would love to have feedback on!

But you are right, I'll keep it easy for now ;)

Oh, I did not mean it like that.. post all you have.. no problem! ;)

I did not mean give someone else a chance to post footage.. any one can any time. I was just joking inferring "let someone else (Shoot) something'!

I was just jesting!

Welcome to the boards.. nice work!

What are you shooting tomorrow?

Olivier...great job.

And I like the oversaturated colour.

I'd leave it.

Loved it! Looks beautiful, I guess thats what you get when you're shooting 35 mm. Too bad I'm stuck with little old 1080 and DV :) Ahh well. Did you use any artificial light or was that straight daylight?

Thank you!

We had a 2,5k HMI through silk and a 4 bank Kino flo that's it ;)

I hope you'll like it :) Please keep in mind that it was shot in the worst imaginable condition; rainy day (supposed to be sunny), a ridiculous budget (2k Euro), with one single reel of 35mm film, one shot one take. Here are some impressions from the set: http://vimeo.com/7226305
