Alain LeTourneau
Kodak's recent announcement of discontinuing 16mm Plus-X Negative (7231) has come at a bad time as I'm in the middle of a project shooting on the stuff. I know Double-X is still available, but I would like to find additional supplies of Plus-X. Please let me know if you have any to donate or sell. Here's the project: http://www.emptyquarterfilm.org/synopsis.php I have 200' of ORWO N74 (ISO 400), four 100' rolls of 7245 (50D), and a bunch of recanned and short ends Vision 2 stocks to trade if interested. Premium Member Tim Carroll Posted April 7, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted April 7, 2010 When did they announce that?! How come I miss all these things? I just bought a bunch of 100 footers about three weeks ago and no one at Kodak mentioned anything about them stopping production of it. When is this supposed to stop? It's still listed on their site: http://motion.kodak.com/US/en/motion/Produ..._Films/5231.htm You sure they're not just out of it in Oregon? :-) Best, -Tim

Premium Member Tim Carroll Posted April 7, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted April 7, 2010 Thanks Bill, hadn't seen that. Alain, Just talked to Kodak in New York, they have quite a bit of 7231, B-wind, on 100 ft camera spools (over 100 rolls as of 4:15PM Central Time this afternoon). Didn't ask about 400 footers. I would just call the 800 number and order all that you think you'll need to finish your project (before it's too late). Best, -Tim
