Edmund Olszewski
I was just wondering...who came up with the original idea for there to be car keys in the sun visors?!
Ryan Thomas
The same folks who brought you car keys in refrigerators probably. :)
Edmund Olszewski
Like in Terminator 2... but I wonder what was one of the first movies that came up with that idea. Its funny because I would never leave my keys in the visor!
Mike Lary
but I wonder what was one of the first movies that came up with that idea. It wasn't invented by Hollywood. People used to do that and some still do. It's more common in rural areas and small towns where car theft isn't rampant.
JD Hartman
I've done similarly with my keys, when working in a place where they are likely to slip out of a pocket and go missing. I usually drop them under the seat. Ignition key left with the equipment is more common than you think on farm tractors and trucks, compressors, generators and heavy equipment. Mike Lary
I always wonder why not the glove compartment.... The visor is closer. No need to put strain on your back.
