I did a simple transfer fonction, but it doesn't seem to work. Color = (Print_light - 25)/25 So, for RGB = (34, 32, 29), we have a ASC CDL like this: TITLE: Some title here 001 A018931_M01 V C 01:00:00:00 01:10:16:04 01:00:00:00 01:10:16:04 *ASC_SOP (1 1 1) (0.36 0.28 0.16) (1 1 1) We don't have the values for slope and power, so we just set it them to 1. Yeah ... trying to make a correlation between a CDL and a LAD? Or something? What is the question again? Are there known knowns? and known unknowns? But the results are not good at all... Is it any wonder? Look, different films react differently with varying amounts of light. They react more or less in a linear fashion (simple black-and-white positive print stock) or with wild curves when plotted against the given time-intensity products. You cannot copy the figure 1 to 50 line without analysis of a defined film. It’s like calculating how the stew should taste. Does a cook work with a calliper?
