Making KODAK Film - new interesting book

Recommended Posts

I think it's more or less self-published by an ex-Kodak guy. A couple of his ex-colleagues have vouched for him and the book on APUG and photo.net. One guy said the book looks great. I put my order in a couple weeks ago.

Got mine today. Magazine size and a bit under 100 pages long. LOTS of photos. Pretty good quality printing as well. It talks about both still film and motion picture film. It's pretty cool if you ask me. Worth the $30 if you are at all interested in this stuff. Who knows how long it will be available if you don't get a copy now.

Oh, and it looks reasonably current to. The motion picture stock they use as an example is Vision3 500T.

the quick once over showed a very informative and well imaged book.

I had to pick it up at the post office, and then found myself flipping through it in the car. It does cover some of the gaps, although I did wonder what stock they were using when showing slitting operations in some of the Photos
