It pains me that I discussed the future of my feature with my wife (another producer) and she said I need to stop trying to do film on a shoestring budget and shoot digital. I showed her footage from the BMPCC and she likes it and that is the only digital camera I will compromise for so that is what my feature will be shot on.

I need to raise funds for that camera so here goes what was going to be the start of my film on 16mm and I must now pass it on to someone who can do something with it.

This is 3,800 feet of Kodak Vision film in 16mm. All 1R, all sealed, and all kept in the fridge for as long as I have had it and for the life of the people I purchased them from.

Included is:

- (3) V3 200t x 400'

- (2) V3 500t x 400'

- (1) V3 250d x 400'

- (1) V2 50d x 400'

- (1) V2 500t x 400'

- (1) V2 200t x 400'

- (2) V3 500t x 100'

I am looking to sell this to get a good amount toward the BMPCC body. I cannot afford to low ball or give away to "students."

If anyone is interested in trading, I could work out a cash/film deal toward a BMPCC as well.

Accepting reasonable offers. And remember, I also gotta ship this stuff and it ain't light.

Cheers.

Pocket is a very nice choice. Pair it up with some Rokinon Cine lenses in EoS Mount (so then you can rent/sell them to other EOS people) for a good low cost entry.

Also recommend getting a V Lock battery solution for it, and something like a Small HD DP4 for EVF/Monitoring.

You'd be looking at about 4.5K for a full kit, give or take.

I just shot a small production with a Pocket last Saturday. In the rented package was a Cineroid HD evf, I found it rather good solution. You'll need some good solution to take care of the power since it does eat internal batteries very fast. However, if you have electricity near, one can charge them quite fast (faster than camera eats one).

For lenses I used Contax C/Y mount Zeiss lenses. Very good sharp and cheap lenses, available on Ebay. Just buy a C/Y to m43 adapter.

Make sure you buy quality SDXC memory.
