Kenny N Suleimanagich Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Very much looking forward to this, Valerian. I'm going to shoot some stills and make S16 extractions from high-res scans to start seeing how this film performs. 100, grain wise, might be a great move for this run.
Premium Member Gregg MacPherson Posted November 15, 2014 Premium Member Posted November 15, 2014 @Valerian. What happened to the desire to cease comment? The unruly, capricious entity broke out. Now you'd like to displace our sympathy for the death in your family towards you in your predicament here? I'm not buying this, nor any film.
Toto D Guerra Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 1. yes 2. 400 3. 1 4. 0.5/mo 5. thinking of it but not really prepared for it yet. Depends on the project as well. I would be interested to see a few motion picture tests online with the zone readings you had on set, just to get an idea of the behavior of the film. I leave the whole processing / QC discussion aside, I'm not qualified yet to discuss it. I'd be excited to shoot anything for a try if you can provide professional processing options (either in an existing film lab in L.A. or having the exposed film fly back to you and you deal with it). I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd be happy to be somehow part of this.
